Meet Sofia Moukaddem

We’re excited to share that Tessuto is growing and to welcome Sofia Moukaddem to the team as our Interior Design Intern this summer!

Sofia joins us from Suffolk University, where she is entering her final year studying Interior Design and plans to pursue graduate studies in Interior Architecture. We’re excited for her to gain hands-on experience across commercial interiors, materials, and client collaboration while working alongside the team this summer.

“Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be joining Tessuto this summer as an Interior Design Intern. As Claudia mentioned, I’m entering my senior year at Suffolk University studying Interior Design, and I’ve developed a strong interest in materials, finishes, and the creative process behind shaping functional, meaningful spaces.

Through both coursework and campus involvement, I’ve gained experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign, and I’m excited to continue building those skills through hands-on experience and real-world projects at Tessuto.

Outside of design, I’m involved in Suffolk’s design community through the IDO Club and the IIDA Fashion Show, where I’ll serve as Treasurer next year. I’m also a captain of the cross country and track teams, competing at the conference, regional, and national levels.
